NAME: Benjamin John Hawkins.
BORN: Milfay, Oklahoma / 1916
AGE: 19
OCCUPATION: Carnival roustabout , fake faith healer, stopper of the apocalypse
ALIGNMENT: chaotic good
SPECIES: Avatar ('creature of light')
ABILITIES: healing, restoring life, spontaneous visions and his fists.
HE WAS: a farmer, a thief and a convict
HE IS: prison escapee, carnie rouster, a murderer, and the physical representation of god's light

⊱ He bleeds blue blood.
⊱ Spiritually aware characters (angels in particular) will notice a white aura around him.


PLOTTING
Ben has several abilities which may be fun to utilize for plots! Most will require heavy  lead up, but I'm always willing to discuss!

✘VISIONS

Avatars receive visions of the past, present and future spontaneously and erratically. Ben usually doesn't see much beyond what's immediately relevant to his situation in canon, since it is a plot device. However, Avatars do have the power to see visions of particular individuals and on a greater scheme. This is completely uncontrolled for Ben, but if you would like to build a plot, I'd love to work something out! .

✘HEALING

Technically, he can move life from one organism to another. This means that every injury healed will require a sacrifice from another body: animal, human or plant. It depends on what's in the immediate vicinity and how severe the injury. (i.e: A field of crops for healing paralysis, a flock of vultures for a burned body, a lake of fish for a broken arm) Everything does require an exchange, though humans are the easiest to pull from without killing them.

✘RESTORING LIFE

Thiiiiis is a sticky one, and I'd like to avoid him using it unless there is a dire situation with enough build up to warrant it. A life for a life is the rule, and it's only fair that these lives be non-NPC players only. Ben doesn't like to use it, and won't use it unless there's a damn good reason. .
